Description

ABOUT THIS COFFEE

El Paraiso is one of the oldest coffee-farming departments in Honduras. Coffee grows here between 1,050 and 1,750 meters ASL, the soil is rich in organic matter from the forests covering the mountains and the microclimates created by the topography are ideal for growing coffee.

The coffee is roasted to Medium-Dark (Full City) and has Cinnamon, Banana and Citrus notes and medium body.

SWP DECAF

The Swiss Water Process (SWP) is a non-solvent method for decaffeinating unroasted coffee beans. It was introduced by Coffex in 1979, at that time, the only commercial decaffeination method that did not use solvents. The Swiss Water Process has quickly become one of the most popular methods of decaffeinating specialty coffee. It is not so called because the water itself is Swiss, but instead because the process was developed in Switzerland.
